​Welcome!  We are a community based program full of many outdoor experiences and opportunities for personal growth. As an Alberta approved Dayhome, I provide a very safe, loving, organized and stimulating environment that compiles with or exceeds all standards set forth by the province. Discovery Dayhome is SCREEN FREE and conveniently located in St. Albert (Forest Lawn), just off Sir Winston Churchill Ave/Boudreau Road with quick access to Anthony Henday. Discovery Dayhome is approved and monitored through an accredited agency, who are contracted through Alberta Family Services. I am a graduate of the Early Learning in Childcare program (with distinction) at Portage College and hold a Level 3 Early Childhood Provincial Certification. As a provincially approved program, all of my families have access to government grants for more cost efficient childcare fees.  Children in the program are encouraged to try new things and share in the community experiences around them. Kindergarten readiness skills (numeracy, literacy, social and physical development) are a gentle part of our everyday program to ensure success as they spread their wings.  Your family becomes our family when your child joins our group, a very special life long bond is formed. Discovery Dayhome runs Monday-Thursday, on a teachers schedule with an August option. Closed in July.
